Wehtam Yelthgiek is borne by the static that permeates our daze. But the crackle and hum is breaking - splitting apart with long-orphaned sounds bubbling up through the cracks created to find their home along some creaking coastline. Spikes of percussion are strung up between swells of sun-bleached synths - beats stagger in tilted suspension, but a still life this is not. Sounds coalesce with the force of years behind them. Oil-slick bass lines ebb from shore only to surge and redouble, clattering against those obsidian rhythms carved out by a subtle hand. The music of Wehtam Yelthgiek is tidal, and shows no sign of turning.
